This coming Thursday, we have an In-House Field Trip for K-2 to the Pumpkin Patch. The farmer will be bringing pumpkins for all, and the kids will get to pet baby farm animals, create a class scarecrow and watch a magic show. If you are planning to chaperone, please fill out and return the pink form that was sent last week, and be sure to have your fingerprinting receipt on file in the office.
On Friday afternoon, Mrs. Miller is hosting our Career Dress-Up Day. All week, we will be learning about careers, and exploring what the kids might want to do for a living. Students will wear or bring in an outfit, uniform, or costume that represents what they want to be. Then the entire school will parade around campus and show their career choices. This is a great time to get fun, artistic and creative with your child, as well as to share your knowledge of careers.
Finally, we will be exploring nature this week by going on our own Fall nature walk. Mrs. C and Mrs. J will have lots of fun science and arts crafts, as well as expanding our Autumn vocabulary. Thanks to those of you who already took your family fun nature walk and sent in bags of fall materials. We will use those in the class as well.
Our own classroom version of this book is in the works, and will be coming to you very soon by the KinderStreet kids. Stay tuned!
